A bit about us…

All in the village who need help or want to come to social events can join the Scheme by simply completing a short membership form. The Scheme is run by a small committee of volunteers all local. All the services are run by volunteers all of whom are DBS checked. We have all the required policies which are on the Horringer village website.

The GNS is a popular service used by approx. 50 people, the Scheme offers a lifeline to people in many ways. New friendships have been created and old ones renewed; loneliness is being addressed. Volunteers enjoy their roles. Family members feel reassurance knowing someone is there for their loved ones.

Give us a call. We have a keen team of volunteers able and willing to provide help. Our social events offer company and friendship, and a opportunity to feel part of the village community.
