The Tattingstone Good Neighbour Scheme has been running since 2002 and aims to assist Tattingstone villagers of all ages to live independently. Some of the services on offer are providing transport to medical appointments, hairdressers and other appointments. They also provide assistance collecting prescriptions and performing light household and gardening chores in times of need. There is even the facility for looking after a pet while owners are temporarily indisposed!
TGNS also run a weekly Drop-In in the village hall every Thursday from 10.30am to 12.oopm. It give residents from Tattingstone and further afield an opportunity to meet and chat over a cup of tea and a biscuit.
